Design Manager – UAE I have a new requirement for a Design Manager who has a mechanical and electrical background. My client is an major building, infrastructure and environmental consultancy across the Gulf and have secured the lead contract on a major mixed used development in Abu Dhabi, comprising of accommodation, industrial and commercial facilities. The role of the design manager will be to coordinate with design engineers, providing technical assistance and expertise for the successful completion of the work. They will have the ability to review technical submittals, discuss and attend design review meetings and follow up technical issues with clients etc. Requirements: • At least 7 years of overall experience, specifically in Electrical and Mechanical Field, on similar projects. • Degree qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer. • Some site experience would be an advantage as the role will require some work from a site office location. • GCC experience will be an added advantage This is an active project, due to start at the beginning of May. It is a flag ship project within Abu Dhabi.
