Dog Bowl Success for Leap29

Last night a team of of Leap29's finest consultants went up against 7 other recruitment companies in a winner takes all game of bowling hosted by the Dog Bowl, Manchester.

The rules were, 1 game, highest average score was the winner. 1 shot, 1 opportunity to seize everything we had ever wanted.

Leap29 team memeber, Rob Day commented, "We started to get disheartened when the other groups around us were putting up some big numbers.  One of their players hit a Turkey (3 strikes in a row) but choked on his following shot after some mind games from Scott.  They finished on a good score and at this stage we thought we would be out.  They finished before us and walked away confidently, thinking they had the highest individual scorer and highest team average.

Then it was time for us all to step up.  In the face of adversity we all finished strongly over the last 4 frames. An important combination of strikes and spares was put up by each player leaving us with a final total of 789 which averaged out at 113.

This was enough to see us home and we won by 4 points!

The team will now be competing in the grand final on the 27th September! So everyone get down to support Leap29!

If you ask the team what it was that saw them to victory I think they will all agree it was one thing.  All they did was…..

Believe.
