Senior Engineering Project Manager - Rotterdam, Netherlands
Leap29 are working with an international nutrient recycling company, our client uses insect technology to convert organic waste into animal and aquatic feed. Their operations are expanding globally building factories in the Benelux region.
The position has direct responsibility for managing the building of regional factories in time, within budget adhering to quality requirements necessary to ensure the success of the company. This person will also be part of a wider global engineering PMO function with international locations and may be required to travel internationally from time to time.
Experience / Skills Required:
•Significant and proven experience in factory / plant construction Project Management of with at least 3 completed projects of significant capital value (circa Euro 30+ million)
•Core knowledge in food, agribusiness or associated large scale capital projects
•Core experience in managing major construction partners, EPCM/EPC etc.
•PMP Certification will be an added advantage.
•Knowledge of MS Projects or similar project schedule package.
•Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and conflict management skills.
•Excellent communication, planning and organizing skills.
•Highly organized, self-motivated and attention to detail.
Education / Professional Qualifications
•Bachelors / Masters engineering degree - is a mandatory requirement, ideally mechanical and electrical or chemical engineering
•PMP or equivalent certification - highly desirable
•Fluent English and Dutch language
