Data Center Development Manager - Tokyo, Japan

A global data centre services provider are in the process of undergoing transformational change and growth. As part of these plans, they have in the region of €1 billion of capital project pipeline across APAC and EMEA. One of these projects is a £100m+ greenfield development near Tokyo. They are also undergoing site search in other parts of Japan, Singapore, Korea and Australia.

As part of their growth plans they have created a new role in the real estate development team in Tokyo. The key function of the role will be to develop acquired real estate, and/or existing real estate, from concept and planning through to completion in line with the business strategy

You will procure the design consultants and contractors and take the project through pre-construction phase before handing over to the design and construction team. You will also hold responsibility for the commercial control of the project across the full life cycle.

There will be long-term opportunities to build a regional team across APAC. The ideal person will come from a quantity surveying or construction project management background.
