Data Center Solutions Architect - Paris, France
A multinational technology business, who own a portfolio of data center assets across Europe and Asia, are currently investing upwards of €1 billion as they enter a period of transformational change in order to expand their operations and customer base.
As part of these plans they are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to work in a regional role from Paris. The role will provide you with regional experience dealing with customers and colleagues in their data centre facilities across Europe and Asia-Pacific. This regional work will largely be carried out remotely, meaning there will not be a huge amount of travel requirements. If international travel is of particular interest to you, they will be able to accommodate this.
Working in a lean & flat organisational structure there will be a high degree of recognition and reward for good performance & very real progression opportunities.
The key role will be acting as the bridge between the sales team and design, build and operations teams. You will talk customers through the story of their data centres. Providing information on why certain makes and models of M&E systems have been used, why data halls are a specific size, and provide the right information in terms of technical questions on RFPs. You will also provide customer tours and build strong relationships with the internal operations, design & construction teams.
Reporting into the Director in London, you will be part of a team who are responsible for capturing all customer technical requirements through bids and proposals linked to the fit-out of data halls. You will gain international exposure as you collaborate closely with peers in Europe, US & Asia. You will play an important part in their expansion plans by acting as the bridge between the sales team and design, build and operations teams.
Please note that mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications are not required for this role. This could suit someone already working in a pre-sales role or someone from a data center operations background who is looking to transition into a techno-commercial role.
