Senior Installation Manager

Senior Installation Manager - Food & Beverage - Singapore

Location: Singapore
Duration: 3 month contract position
Working Week: Approx. 45 hours per week
Rate: Competitive daily rate - only to be discussed in a call.

Critical requirements, must have experience in:
·Mechanical Installation / Commissioning Management
·EHS Management
·Contractor Management
·Food & Beverage / Pharmaceutical experience
·Must already have the right to work and live in Singapore (PR or EP)

Key Experience and Skills

·Manage of all site activities to be executed in line with the safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements.
·Management of process equipment move-in and installation, including pipework, tanks, ductwork, process equipment and associated valving.
·Quality supervision of the installation, to ensure that the work complies with all regulations, specifications and client requirements
·Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner, and running field safety toolbox meetings as necessary Project management professional with certification from Project Management Institution (PMI)
· Ensure that all engineering, procurement and construction activities are performed to the required standards.
·Coordinate with the vendors and clients on all contract changes.
·Review of construction drawings and test packages.
·Manage line checks, witnessing of NDTs and pressure tests.
·Management of requirements of ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API,
·AWS, ISO and other International Standards/ Codes where relevant.
·Resolve construction problems and coordinate with engineering for necessary field modifications.
·Quality control of piping fabrication, painting and insulation works as per client's standards and ASME requirements.
· Ensure that subordinates and personnel under supervision are using the latest drawing revision procedures, job specifications, isometric drawings, standards and P&IDs.
·Prepare status, daily and weekly reports.
·Coordinate the commissioning of utilities and process plant.
·Schedule monitoring for manpower and equipment mobilization, number of spools and supports installed.
·Manage chemical cleaning / passivation of pipework.
·Check work front and coordinate with other disciplines.
·Prepare material requisition, record and monitor material usage for every isometric drawing- its availability and usability.
·Supervise/manage post completion task such as flushing, air blowing, and steam blowing operation.
·Report to the project construction superintendent and discuss daily work execution based on project schedule.
·Conduct daily toolbox meeting within the group, to assess their feedback on work and safety related issues.
·Initiate and supervise heavy lifting operations and rigging of piping material
