Account Manager - Welwyn Garden City, UK

Job Title: Account Manager (Beverages)

My client is a leading provider of equipment and services solutions for beverage, food, home and personal care products who are seeking to appoint an Account Manager to their team. If you have a strong knowledge of the beverages market, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

Responsibilities
-Collaborate with the Project Manager to maximise order intake
-Optimise sales strategy of new equipment
-Propose new ideas for business development opportunities
-Use your market knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service
-Oversee the entire sales project, from customer negotiation through to final acceptance of the equipment
-Proactively manage sales activities
-Lead Market intelligence and segmentation (OI+CD, Pipeline, competitors quotes)
-Offer solutions to customer requirements in a professional manner
-Be accountable for OI and profitability

Requirements:
-Master's degree or equivalent in relevant subject
-Background in food and beverage preferred
-Fluent in English
-Flexibility (the role will require some travel through the UK and Ireland)
-An effective communicator
-Strong team player
-Ability to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines
