Process Engineer - Crawley, UK
Leap29 are working with an international OEM within the food and beverage industry and our client has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join them in Crawley. In this position you will be working on both projects and bid proposals and be responsible for the process design of equipment systems.
Responsibilities:
•developing a process design which meets the requirements of the proposal or project
•ensuring design phase outputs are delivered in line with the time schedule and quality requirements
•providing technical support regarding process design aspects throughout project and bid lifecycles
•undertaking other technical tasks as required (e.g. site surveys, feasibility studies, support to sales, etc)
In general, you will work as part of a team and will collaborate closely with other team members and functional disciplines to ensure successful delivery of the project or bid scope.
Requirements:
•Degree level qualification in appropriate engineering discipline (e.g. Process, Chemical, Mechanical)
•Engineering design experience in Dairy, Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and/or other hygienic industries
•Understanding of hygienic design principles, particularly relating to process engineering design
•Experience / understanding of systems designed for clean-in-place (CIP)
•Knowledge on Fluid mechanic, thermal, transformation process, …
•Experience of working within, and leading, a technically oriented team
•Full driving license a strong advantage
•Good level of competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Experience of AutoCAD beneficial
•SAP experience beneficial
