Project Manager - Singapore - Liquid Processing

Location:Based in Singapore with travel in South East Asia
Duration:Full time, long-term opportunity
Working Week:40 - 45 hours per week
Package:Competitive Monthly Pay + Bonus + Business related Expenses Paid


The Company

A Multinational turnkey contractor operating in food, beverage and dairy sectors

The Role

Projects values from $3m to $15m SGD

• Schedule Management
• Equipment QA
• Management of Engineering Tasks
oProvide clear leadership for project team and the companies involved
oForm, develop and lead project engineering team
oEnsure design reviews are conducted
oManage project engineers tasking for the project
oEnsure timely delivery of engineering outcomes for the project
oEnsure information flow is effective for development of drawings and design documents
• Site Management Responsibilities
oOverall responsibility for installation and commissioning phase of project
oOverall responsibility for site safety and safety of staff / sub-contractors
oWork with Site Manager to deliver installation to schedule
oWork with Site Manager to deliver installation to required quality
oDevelop site team and culture
oEnsuring resource is provided to complete goals
oEnsure documentation is competed to requirements and standards
oCommunicate installation and interface activities to client
• Site Commissioning Responsibilities
oPlan commissioning activities
oEnsure resource is allocated
oEnsure documentation is competed to requirements and standards
oEnsure training of clients staff is carried out
oCommunicate commissioning and interface activities to client
• Team Development
oCoach team members and assist them to develop into their project roles
oIdentify and mentor potential project managers within the team
oTrain and mentor other Project managers as required

The Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience gained working with liquid processing for food, beverage, and dairy or chemical engineering projects.
• Either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering bias.
• Experience gained in the South East Asian region would be advantageous.
• Ability to travel to site for up to two weeks at a time
• Ideally experience working for contractors or OEM companies
• Experience gained from design through installation and commissioning,
