Asset Manager Solar - London, UK
Our client are a highly successful investment manager with a focus on infrastructure and renewable energy investments across Europe. They provide strong shareholder returns from their acquisitions in the sector and manage a fund with a specific focus on acquisitions and management of solar energy projects. Presently overseeing almost 500MW of solar projects across the UK.
As part of their growth plans, they are looking to take on an Asset Manager to join their team in London. You will be the point of contact for all technical aspects of allocated solar farm assets and responsible for the regular monitoring and reporting of operational performance.
To be successful in the role you will have:
·2 - 4 years' experience in a similar asset management, performance analysis or technical role in the energy sector
·Exposure to the solar industry is preferred, other industries considered
·Degree qualified (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
·Experience in performance monitoring and production optimisation
·Contract management experience
·Assist in the preparation and agreements of solar site operational plans, budgets and forecasts
·Control and analyse performance of operating assets
·Identify operational risks to solar sites via operational analysis
·Contractual management including O&M contracts, management of disputes and claims
·Liaising external asset managers
·Assist in the funds M&A processes where technical assessment is required
