Senior Engineering Manager- Milan, Italy

If you have an engineering-related degree and a minimum of 5 years working within the industry, ideally as a project engineer or similar discipline then we want to hear from you.

The Role:
-Assist the Project Manager across all assigned activities, including process design, detail design, procurement, planning, cost engineering and commissioning
-Co-ordinate all Engineering Department design activities, effectively communicating with other discipline groups to maintain the best possible information flow
-Ensure compliance with Company Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety procedures
-Frequently maintain communication with Discipline Engineers to establish the basic plan and its logic
-Use excellent technical coordination and effective, independent judgement to coordinate various disciplines
-Take on board customer feedback and respond appropriately, ensuring excellent customer service fuels your decisions
-Define, maintain and monitor project-specific procedures and quality assurance plans
Requirements:
-Degree in an Engineering discipline
-Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Design and Coordination of R&D, Secondary Pharmaceutical or Biotechnological projects working for A&E design firms, E&C contractors or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies
-Strong technical background, able to solve problems effectively
-Confidence in your ability to lead and coordinate the design of pharmaceutical projects in Europe, gaining clients recognition
-Leadership skills with the ability to communicate your ideas fluently
-Full awareness of the technical and commercial obligations of the contract, ensuring they are understood and implemented by the responsible staff
-Experience coordinating multi-office projects
