Regional Project Manager - Bangkok (Thailand) - Multinational Food Processing OEM
Duration: Permanent Staff Role
The location: Bangkok, Thailand with regional travel (expect 40% travel domestically and regionally)
Working week: 40 - 50 hours per week dependent on operational requirement

Reporting to: Regional Projects Director
A Multinational food processing machinery company specialising in freezer solutions, protein processing, in-container processing and fruit processing solutions
• PM shall be responsible for company targets in terms of Sales, GM% and POC
• Manage a team of 2/3 project engineers
• PM has to coordinate/ supervises team members from various functional groups, as required for project execution.
• 40-50% Office based / 15-20% Shop floor & 20 - 30% at site and travelling to meet customers across the South East Asian region
Duties / Responsibilities
1.Responsible for developing project plans and schedules. Works with functional groups (Sales/applications, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing) to develop and assign tasks.
2.Responsible for effective customer communications throughout all phases of the project to customer signoff acceptance.
3.Responsible to verify final inspection and machine document status prior to shipping
4.Plan and coordinate project installation as required with service, customer and outside contractors.
5.Facilitate communications between cross company and functional teams to ensure that issues are identified and incorporated into schedules and processes, through all project phases.
6.Effectively manage equipment suppliers and contractors
7.Responsible for ensuring Project Gross margins and overall costs.
8.Give feedback to Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service on machines running in the field, to improve design, manufacturing process, installation, future quotations
Minimum of 10 years of experience gained within engineering and project management for GMP, Dairy, Food, Beverage type projects
Degree Qualified in a relevant discipline - Ideally Mechanical or Chemical engineering or equivalent
Experience gained with food processing technology and equipment
Ideally you would have some knowledge of fillers, closers, aseptic filling and refrigeration
Process design: Experienced in engineering drawing and P&ID (design, draw and understand)
