Today we are delighted to be celebrating 20 years of Leap29. First established in 2000, Leap29 was a small Construction and Engineering recruitment company with just 3 employees. 20 years on, a lot has changed at Leap29 and a lot has changed within the recruitment industry.
Job adverts were printed in newspapers, CVs were sent in the post and the fax machine was one of the most used device in the office. Technology was just starting to transform the recruitment industry, with mobiles and the internet still in their infancy and the launch of job boards in the late-1990s, bringing a completely new way to the way that we worked.
20 years on, technology seems to be developing at an exponential rate, with innovative trends and visions of the future which are slowly becoming our reality. In the recruitment industry we are able to connect with people all around the world at the touch of a button, instant access to a wealth of valuable data and access to innovative recruitment tools. We no longer just simply fill a vacancy, we map out talent pools, build genuine connections, provide industry insights and bring people and businesses together from all around the world.
It’s incredible to be part of such a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, and we are really excited to see where the next 20 years will bring us. Watch this space…
