2015 Charity Appeal a Huge Success

Leap29's 2015 charity appeals concluded in December with the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Appeal and Operation Christmas Child Shoebox donation. Along with sporting some of the most outrageous Christmas jumpers, Leap29 employees brought in a fully stocked shoebox to send to underprivileged communities around the world.

The Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day is a national event in fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children. Click here to find out more about this event. Operation Christmas Child, run by the Samaritan's Purse arranges for shoeboxes packed with various items for children to be sent around the world at Christmas time to share the love and joy amongst communities in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Leap29 Director, Nathan Ward commented,

We had a record breaking year this year in the number of shoeboxes being donated with everyone in the office brining in a shoebox of the Operation Christmas Child Appeal. Coupled with the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day it was a great atmosphere and a real togetherness in giving back to others.

Over the last 12 months we have supported a number of different charities including, The Lily Foundation, The Stroke Association, British Skin Foundation, The Christie and Red Nose Day to name a few. Leap29 employees have been fantastic in their support for our charity partners and together we have raised in excess of £5,000 through various events along with vital awareness of the various issues these charities face.

I am extremely proud of all our employees in the commitment they have shown in giving back to various organisations. We plan to make 2016 an even more successful year in helping more charities.
